A ripper uses strong tines to loosen compacted ground before it's worked further. The V12 does this with twelve spring-mounted tines that give way under resistance instead of simply dragging large stones along — so nothing gets caught, the ground isn't damaged and the tractor isn't strained. That makes it robust and long-lasting, and allows speeds of up to 25 km/h instead of a crawl — ideal groundwork for the VGrader.
